Today is mid-term of our @Ar-Venture Contest “Cartoon Character” and we must say we have ONE and ONLY Entry until now. As always @sweettais made her beautiful entry of Pinocchio! Anyway, for this mid-term post I also decided to share my another Cartoon Character we with my family watched few years ago and that is “WALL-E” or I like the German version of the animated movie and it is called:
“WALL·E – Der Letzte räumt die Erde auf” that is in direct translation means “WALL·E – The last one will clean up the Earth”
There are few reasons why I like the movie
First of all it is beautifully made animated movie for the whole family.
If someone did not watch I can sum up like:
In far, far future the mankind has destroyed the climate and polluted everything with garbage, there is no space only trash. Therefore, what usually human does, the people created a spaceship and set off to look for a new Planet, by the way the people are served by machine therefore, they stop moving and became really obese.
But what happened with Earth, there were few robots-cleaner called WALL-E left to clean up the earth. Many of those machines are out of order only one is left behind, very lonely but still doing what he is there for. One day another robot of humans coming back to check if there if a life and of course both robots meet. One beautiful scene that I love so much I decided to reproduce with watercolors and share with you. You can see that there is a new life on Earth, if you are interested by my story and painting just get the movie and watch it id worth it.
The second reason why I like it, despite of being produced and popular 11 years ago we are still in front of the same problem: Climate Protection and Pollution, the generations do not care about our Planet, people get lazier and population of Western world becomes obese. Everything what was in the cartoon is becoming a truth. That makes me a bit anxious.
Do you also think that the story of that animated cartoon can become our reality?
