Hello dear Steemians,

This weekend I am off and of course just wanted to catch up on my painting skills. I have done last watercolor painting long time ago and I have my last watercolor paper so that was then a reason why to do a watercolor work this weekend.
The time slowly approaches Easter Holidays and this time my hubby always has nostalgia about the place that became his second motherland this is a holiday island in Netherland, Ameland. I often hear him singing “Ameland, schönes Land, Perle im Meer” that means “Ameland is beautiful land, a pearl in the sea (in North Sea)”. Every Eater and summer time they spent there.

Therefore I thought to do the painting of the beautiful small village in Netherlands called Woudsend. Woudsend is a village in Súdwest-Fryslân in the province of Friesland, the north east of the Netherlands.
The photo done by Klaas Heiligenberg immediately attracted my attention and here it is my painting, as always a boat, but I like the photo because of the typical Dutch Windmill in background and lamp posts. I enjoyed my work very much, hope you too.
My step-by-step process:
