Hello dear Steemians,

Back to watercolor painting today and again while searching for the topics I always had in my mind the words of my hubby when he is telling me that with watercolor not to overdo, less is more, that is his quote. He does not like to many colors and to bright, because then the whole attention is distracted with the colors and people stop concentrating on main subject.

Therefore I thought to do simple painting and used only limited palette:

  • Cadmium yellow
  • Ultramarine
  • Payne gray
  • Burnt Umbra
  • Minimal of orange

And that is all, of course WATER, to make sometimes the colors flow but sometimes just to take concentrated colors.

Here it is my painting of budgie.
